It was Saturday night. The weather was rather cool for May. The young driver was dreaming of his warm soft bed, he was tired. But he just spent the evening with a beautiful girl,
his beautiful girl. A smile danced across his face as he pictured her smiling sweet face.

"Oh," thought the smitten young man, "she is such a deeeear.............

oh no! DEER!" His happy thoughts were rudely interrupted by two deer running across the road. He swerved to avoid hitting the skiddish creatures. He succeeded!! However, this was not the end of his adventure.
The young driver, we will call him Trent, as in Elise's boyfriend Trent, was driving the speed limit, which is a good thing, however the speed limit was 55, which is a bad thing if you have to swerve.

After fishtailing down the street, he hit a street sign and it kindly agreed to move from it's assign spot , but Trent proceeded to collide with a very stubborn phone pole, which, for the record would NOT move out of the way...probably a
Union phone pole;}

Here is the final result,

Oh My, this is not good! If our Handsome driver had not thought quickly and turned the car abruptly to the right, the phone pole would have hit HIS door and well we don't want to think about what could have been. He was able to send the "hit" towards the rear door avoiding what "might" have been.

So how did Trent fair after such an ordeal, you ask? Except for a few scrapes and bruises(mostly from the seat belt), not bad! Here is a bruise/scrape left from his shoulder harness. (see picture of Trent below to get a better view of this)

And these are from crawling out the broken window, after the crash. The Paramedics said he was a very luck guy. They told him that most people don't just "walk away" from an accident like this. They said they have seen
accidents with
LESS damage and the people
DON'T walk away.

Here is our weary traveler under the influence of Vicodin. Aside from the bruise & scrapes and being very stiff and sore,

he is doing well! Looking at the car, I must say this is truly a miracle! We love you Trent and we are glad you are okay.

Wow! I'm so glad the injuries weren't worse. He's truly lucky. I know this from experience. It's amazing how quickly you are at the mercy of the auto and all the forces coming in on it. I'm sure he's feeling mighty blessed right about now. Best of luck. Brenda
How scary!! I'm really glad Trent is OK!! He is a really cute guy!
That is so scary! I am glad that Trent is OK. I've heard that if you see a deer, you are just supposed to drive right into it and hit it, but I think that would be too hard because your instinct would be to swerve.
It is a miracle he wasn't hurt more! Someone is watching out for him!
