Okay, since Harry, Ron and Hermione are all safe and sound I had to get a new obsession! I LOVE these books. Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, by Stephenie Meyer... and a fellow Mormon to boot! They are Young Adult fiction, and definitely not for younger kids! They are about a Vampire and his high school girlfriend...............Yes, I know macabre!!!But not gory!
They are all very good reads, though I didn't like the second one as much as I did the first and third. Not because it wasn't good, it was VERY GOOD, I just didn't like the way the story line went... I don't want to say to much! I read all three in a week...........yes, I have no life and I am so tired since I had stayed up late into the night to read, but I can honestly say, I have not had this much fun reading since I discovered the Harry Potter books many years ago. OK. I need to get a hold of these books! My friend, Spring, emailed me about them just after the HP book came out and told me how much she liked them.
I tried to buy one in Target today, but it was sold out! I guess that is a good sign, right??
I've heard of the books too. Some of my friends have been blogging about them aswell. I am sad about HP but I need to move on to reading something else and this book seems to be all the rage.
Ok, so I read Twilight on Wednesday, and I just finished New Moon. I had to go and buy Eclipse today.....I hope Andy doesn't mind.
They are really fun to read! Thanks for introducing them to me, even though I haven't seen Andy for a couple days. My nose has been buried in a book. :D He seems to be dealing with it all right. ha ha.
