Cape May New Jersey!

We took Noah and Holly to the beach last week! It was nice and peaceful. And I think it was a tad cold...

...judging from these three faces! (you need to click on these pictures to appreciate the faces) I didn't brave the water. I HATE THE COLD!

We took the kids on a dolphin/whale site seeing boat!

No, this was not our boat, but I couldn't resist taking a picture of this boat;}

We didn't see any whales, but we did see a ton of Dolphins!
And yes, they were this close!-click on photo for better details-

Some would ride the wake (waves) off of our boat. Beautiful creatures!

But not every day was cold. Once you got use to the water, it was actually warm. The air around us, however, was still freezing.

The Kids and Don had a blast in the water. And I had a blast on the dry sea shore taking pictures wrapped up in my hoodie and blanket!

This is the Bed and Breakfast Holly and I are going to buy. It overlooks the ocean!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A storm came through and really churned up the ocean. This shot does not even begin to show the turbulence we saw. Normally the Atlantic ocean is a rather calm sea of gray, the waves don't even come close to the pacific ocean, but this day it was very rough.

This is Lucy, the world's tallest elephant. She stands six stories tall, weighs 90 tons, is covered with 12,000 square feet of sheet tin. She was a functioning building, serving first as a real estate office, as a summer home, even briefly as a tavern, until unruly drunks nearly burned her down. She is 65 feet high and make of wood and metal. The story goes that sailors would see this HUGE elephant from their ships and would swear off Rum for days, thinking they were seeing things. Her eyes are actual port holes.I got a kick out of Lucy's "rear" window!

Here are a couple of the many beautiful sunsets at the beach! When I become rich and famous I am going to by a beach house!!

That looks like one fun vacation! There is something so calming about being near the ocean. I always feel recharged after a beach trip. Nice pictures. =D
